Early registration ended on April 21 at 4pm. You can still participate! We will try our best to get you a t-shirt on race day. Please fill out one registration form per runner/walker (don't combine forms).

Thunderbird Bolt Schedule of Events

8:00am - Check-in and Day-of Registration begin

9:00am - 5K Race Start (See race routes below)
           - 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk start

10:00am - Awards Ceremony
Raffle prize winners will be drawn at this time. Additionally, the top 3 finishers of each age group in the 5K race will receive medals. Age groups are: Kindergarten-2nd grade; 3rd grade-5th grade; and Adult. All participants will receive a ribbon at the finish line for both events.

Please make sure to stay on sidewalk during race as much as possible for the safety of everyone!  Good Luck!

5K Race

The race begins on Chippewa Drive by the school parking lot. Run up Chippewa Drive and turn right onto Ottawa Trail. Turn right on Council Crest which becomes Spring Trail. Turn left onto Seneca Place, then turn right onto Council Crest again. Follow Council Crest until it becomes Waban Hill. Turn left onto Yuma Drive, then turn right onto Cherokee Drive. Turn left onto Midvale Blvd. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Nakoma Road, run all the way down Nakoma Road until the park entrance  Turn into the park and run through the park until the finish by the school.

1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Runners/Walkers begin race at Thoreau parking lot. Go down Cherokee Drive. Turn left onto Waban Hill. Then turn left onto Nakoma Road and continue down Nakoma Road until the park. Turn into the park and go through the park and finish at the school.
